What makes me different

I’ve been in IT recruitment for 10 years and uniquely all of that has been with Opus. The recruitment space can sometimes be a transient one, but as a successful high growth company, Opus have always provided exceptional opportunity to progress.

During my career at Opus I’ve been fortunate enough to work in multiple locations starting in Bristol, running a team of contracts consultants. In 2014 I was given the opportunity to set up a new office down under in Sydney. When moving back to the UK, I was able support our London office, who had a newly formed management team and growing office, and now I’ve come full circle coming back to Bristol and stepped into the Regional Director position.

My time at Opus has allowed me to experience the most innovative global IT markets and given me exposure to how businesses operate across various countries and regions. Having this understanding ensures, wherever Opus have landed, we’ve always been at the forefront of supporting clients recruit across niche markets within IT (Microsoft, Open Source, DevOps, Cyber, AI, Senior Appointments, Digital Transformation, and more.)

Our unique place in the market has helped us position ourselves to not only offer a traditional solution to recruitment, but also more innovative and strategic ways like retained services across contract and perm, giving our clients a stronger reach in the market to support their growth; managed services solutions controlling the whole recruitment process and supplier set up; and our unique IT academy in _Nology, creating the best home grown IT talent in the market supporting client growth from the ground up.
