What makes me different

I am passionate about the relationship between people and work. In fact, I would say it is something that I obsess about. I founded Opus in 2008 with a clear aim: To become a Global Leader in Niche and Innovative Talent Solutions. I was proud of my background in Recruitment and really felt there was so much more to give to the talent space by expanding our offering to cover the full Talent Lifecycle – from defining an organisation’s talent strategy, building a strong and relevant employer brand, attracting and recruiting the right people, managing people to thrive, developing them and their careers, retaining good people and then positively impacting people when they exit the organisation.

Whilst Opus today is unrecognisable from the day we set up, our aim is still as clear and as relevant as ever as we embrace and create so many new exciting technologies, methodologies and innovative ideas! Most of my time is now spent working with innovators in the industry, focusing on projects that address ‘the future of work’ and other exciting challenges and opportunities.

I’m very fortunate to work with some of the most amazing people on the planet and as such we have been fortunate enough to win a number of very significant awards and accolades over the years. For me personally, these include being named The Sunday Times Best Leader on two occasions (2015 and 2016) as well as numerous ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ awards.

Outside of work I am a proud father of three amazing children. I enjoy watching and playing sport and love reading books on my favourite topics – wellness, motivation, management theories and business.
